This may be done while seated on a sofa or in front of a mirror until you are comfortable with this carry. Please use a spotter until you feel confident in doing this alone.


Step 1: With the body of the carrier behind your baby's back, bring the long shoulder straps under her armpits and hold them together tightly at her chest. Pull your baby close to your body.





Step 2: Holding the shoulder straps tight at your baby's chest, use your other hand to help guide the baby around to your back.





Step 3: Holding the shoulder straps between your knees (baby is still held by the carrier uner her arms), reach back and bring the body of the carrier under baby's bottom & tie the waist straps in front.


Step 4: Bring shoulder straps to the appropraite shoulder, stand up. Pull tightly and give yourself a bounce to bring the baby as high and close to you as possible. Tie the shoulder straps, give yourself a check, and Happy Babywearing!
